What foods are treated and what are their effects on health?

Scientists say that processed foods such as sausages, burgers, ready-to-eat meals, cakes and biscuits cause significant health damage in the long term. Processed foods also include milk, cheese, yoghurt and oil. “Super-processed foods are foods that undergo several processes, such as cooling or heating, and adding chemicals to enhance flavor, taste and appearance,” says nutritionist Sunal Shah.

“It includes processed foods, sweet or tasty snacks such as potato chips, baked goods such as cakes, biscuits, frozen ready meals, recycled meat products, instant noodles, ready-made soups, and soft drinks.”

These foods contain a lot of ingredients, which are rich in sugar and salt, and lack of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

A recent study conducted in France analyzed 44,551 French adults over the age of 45 for two years. During the two years, 602 persons studied died.

According to the study, the damage to the treatment materials on health include weight gain and the incidence of type 2 diabetes and digestive problems, and synthetic chemicals in foods and beverages can lead to cancer in the long run, according to the site “Metro”.
