Broccoli and sesame to relieve menstrual pain

The latest medical research recommends the importance of eating broccoli and sesame, especially before the menstrual period, as they help to reduce the tension and nervousness experienced by women during this sensitive period, in addition to reducing the cramps and pain suffered.

The researchers found that women who ate iron-rich foods, especially in vegetables or food supplements, were less likely to suffer from painful menstrual symptoms.

The researchers explained that iron works to stimulate the brain to secretion of serotonin, which helps to improve mood.

The research was conducted on more than 3,000 nurses who followed their diet for 10 years.

The higher the consumption of broccoli, sesame and iron-rich foods, the lower the chances of suffering from contractions during the menstrual cycle.
