A recent study: work stress, lack of sleep, high blood pressure are three-fold risk increases the risk of death

Do you suffer from stress at work, do not sleep too much, and suffer from high blood pressure? Beware, you have met three serious risk factors for heart disease and death because of it!

Researchers from the University of California, California, conducted a study that included about 2,000 employees and lasted for nearly 18 years and found that staff under stress, not sleep well and suffering from hypertension had a 50 percent higher risk of dying from heart disease.

According to the researchers, the presence of one of these factors alone may not reach the seriousness of the three factors together, as the problems of sleep alone does not increase the risk of heart disease and death due to the same degree.

The researchers point out that the main purpose of work pressure is to assign the employee to do many tasks, without the ability to accomplish them all efficiently and in a timely manner. The lack of sleep means that a person can not sleep easily and keep him asleep for a long period of time (7-8 hours). High blood pressure is known to increase the blood pressure level from 100 mmHg for diastolic blood pressure and 140 mm for systolic blood pressure.

The researchers emphasize the need to avoid these factors and treat them to avoid their negative effects, whether they are single or combined.

The results of the study were recently published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
